Configuring Adobe Acrobat Pro
To optimize Portable Document Format (PDF) files, your Adobe Acrobat Pro first needs to be configured with NREL's standard settings.
Standard Settings
The standard settings are:
- StdWeb72 – Creates the smallest-possible PDFs for posting on the web and useful for large documents
- StdWeb150 – Produces all-purpose PDFs for small documents and general printing
- StdPrint – Creates high-resolution, printable PDFs.
You only need to configure your software once with these settings, which are saved as Job Settings files that you can access via the configuration documents below.
