Visualization of Research Approach for Analyzing Dynamic Wireless Charging System Deployment in Atlanta, Georgia, Metro Area (Text Version)

This dynamic visualization shows roadway activity during a two-hour period in the Atlanta area.

About 15% of the roadway includes in-road dynamic wireless charging, with a total of 40 charging segments per 300 miles of road. As vehicles travel across the metro area, data charts show 1) vehicle battery power and state-of-charge (SOC) profiles, 2) power and energy profile for the entire system, and 3) energy use at each charging segment location.
