This is the text version of the video Energy Execs: Guiding Future Leaders in Energy.

>>Carrie Atiyeh: Energy Execs is a fantastic program that brings together people from all over the country to learn about the great work that NREL is doing to be able to interact and network with each other, and then be able to apply it to all of the practices and the work that we're doing.

>>Adam West: Probably one of the best places on Earth to get exposed to renewable energy technology and clean energy.

>>Ida Mae Isaac: You can make connections not only with colleagues and industry professionals, but researchers and just a bunch of brilliant minds, so that you can really build on whatever it is in your career and take it to the next level.

>>Carlos Tamayo: You're getting immersed in all the different research and technology development that happens here within NREL, around what is clean energy transition, and all the different ways you can address that, from transportation to utilities to electrifying cities, and so on.

>>Diane McKeown: When I tell people I'm coming to this place, and I am asked to explain it, I basically say, it's like the mecca for energy nerds—the cutting-edge technology research, just the knowledge and the staff here.

>>Ida Mae Isaac: There's all these different sectors that overnight could be changing drastically. And it happens here at NREL. And we get to learn about it.

>>Adam West: Seeing the research labs and seeing what's cutting edge or bleeding edge for energy technology was immensely valuable. I think it expanded my knowledge base on what's coming in the future quite a bit.

>>Carrie Atiyeh: There are so many opportunities. There are so many challenges to be overcome. And so it just was a great opportunity to be more informed and be able to take that out and continue to do this great work.

>>Carlos Tamayo: I was able to make so many connections with the participants, with the speakers, with the programs. And I do have plans to remain involved with this program in the future.

>>Ida Mae Isaac: If you want to learn and grow within the space of energy, this is the program for you.
