Public EV Charging Infrastructure Playbook Demonstration (Text Version)

This is the text version of the video Public EV Charging Infrastructure Playbook Demonstration.

>>Kaylyn: Hi everyone, my name is Kaylyn, and today I'm going to walk you through the Public Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure Playbook. This Playbook was created by the Joint Office of Energy and Transportation and adapted from the U.S. Department of Energy's Clean Energy to Communities—or C2C—peer learning cohorts and their efforts to ensure equitable and grid-friendly planning and funding for EV charging infrastructure deployment. Whether you're starting to plan for future EV charging for your community or if you're in the middle of a charging deployment project, this playbook walks you through interactive resources so you can learn at your own pace and plan for success.

>>Kaylyn: Each module covers an important topic, from planning to community engagement and even permitting. In total you'll find eight modules that will help you through every step of the EV charging planning and deployment process. Each module has interactive activities and videos and additional resources. Under the additional resources section, you can filter by category. Videos include helpful information and tutorials from C2C cohorts and Clean Cities and Communities coalitions, experts, and webinars from the Joint office and its partners. Activities include things like planning worksheets and questionnaires to get you started in whatever stage of planning your EV charging project is currently in.

>>Kaylyn: We're excited about this resource, and we hope it sets you on the right path for helping your community achieve its climate goals. Here at the Joint Office, we provide free customizable technical assistance to support communities in their path to electrify, whether you're just starting out or you're well on your way to deployment.
