Miami-Dade Metrorail Transit Survey
The 2009 Metrorail Transit Survey collected ridership data about origin-destination patterns, trip purposes, and modes of access/egress to inform transportation planning in Miami-Dade, Florida.

Survey Methodology
The data-collection effort included passenger door counts and a questionnaire in English, Haitian Creole, and Spanish.
Passenger door counts were conducted on the first three trains leaving from the Palmetto and Dadeland South stations on the morning of April 2, 2009. Meanwhile, a questionnaire was distributed to all passengers entering and exiting Metrorail stations from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., April 28, 2009.
