Philadelphia Regional Onboard Transit Survey
The 2010–2011 Onboard Survey collected data on how the transit system in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, area was being used.
Transit Agency
The Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission conducted the survey for the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority, Port Authority Transit Corporation, and Pennsylvania Transportation Management Association.
Survey Methodology
Conducted in English, the survey was carried out December 2010—December 2011, primarily during peak weekday ridership hours. A questionnaire included 20 questions about passenger household characteristics and transit trips to provide statistically valid samples at the system and route levels.

Survey records include 23,001 participants.
