Southern Florida Origin-Destination Transit Surveys for Express Bus Routes 95, 107, and 108

The 2011 Origin-Destination Survey focused on express bus routes in southern Florida, including Route 95 Express, Route 107 Express, and Route 108 Express.

Miami-Dade Transit and Broward County Transit operate Route 95 Express. Broward County Transit operates Route 107 Express and Route 108 Express.

AECOM conducted the survey for Miami-Dade Transit and Broward County Transit.

Survey Methodology

The onboard, paper-based survey was conducted in English in September–October 2011. Participants provided information about their origin and destination, where they boarded and alighted the bus, travel modes to and from the express bus stops, method of fare payment, how long it took to get to and from the bus stops (in time and distance), average travel time, and trip frequency. The survey also included demographic data such as the number of vehicles available to them, the number of vehicles in the household, age, gender, ethnicity, level of education, and household income.
