Southern Florida Palm Tran Origin-Destination Survey for Routes 43 and 62

The 2013 Palm Tran Origin-Destination Survey focused on bus service on Route 43 and Route 62 in Palm Beach County, Florida.

Specifically, the study looked at bus travel in the areas between the Mall at Willington Green and the Intermodal Transit Center (Route 43) and Lake Fort Worth Beach (Route 62).

Transit Agency

CTS Engineering and AECOM Technology Corporation conducted the survey for Palm Tran.

Survey Methodology

The onboard, interview-style survey was conducted in English in April–May 2013. Participants provided information about their origin and destination, bus route numbers, trip distance, and travel time.

Survey records include 2,563 participants.
