Washington, D.C., Metrobus Transit Survey

A 2014 Metrobus Transit Survey collected ridership information by jurisdiction to inform operating subsidy allocations and Title VI compliance in the Washington, D.C., area.

The survey was conducted for the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority.

Survey Methodology

The survey, carried out in English in spring and fall 2014, used statistical methods to capture a representative ridership sample. On a given day, survey forms collecting demographic, travel, and access data were distributed on select bus routes.

Survey records include 26,066 participants.
