Washington, D.C., Metrorail Transit Passenger Survey
This 2012 Transit Passenger Survey collected Metrorail ridership information by jurisdiction to inform operating subsidy allocations and Title VI compliance in the Washington, D.C., area.

The survey was conducted for the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority.
Survey Methodology
Rolling surveys were carried out in English at three to four stations a day from April 13 to May 25, 2012, with follow-up surveys at low-response stations in June 2012. Survey results were provided as percentages at the station and time-of-day levels.
