Jes joined the Residential Buildings Research Group at NREL in 2022 after interning with the Workforce Development and the Integrated Applications Center since 2020. Currently, she’s working to develop the future buildings workforce through the U.S. Department of Energy Solar Decathlon® and helping communities pursue their decarbonization goals.
Before joining NREL, Jes was a master’s student at the University of Colorado Boulder. Her research was focused on a microgrid for a rural Colorado town.
