About High-Performance Computing at NREL

NREL’s high-performance computing (HPC) system users tap into the largest HPC environment in the world dedicated to advancing renewable energy and energy efficiency technologies.

Office Hours

During our office hours, HPC system users at NREL may drop in to meet with staff to get started, ask questions, or resolve any issues. If these hours don’t work for you, you may arrange a different time with the contact.

Drop in to get one-on-one assistance directly from the HPC Operations Team for any questions or issues you're experiencing to get immediate troubleshooting or advice while using our various HPC systems.

Stratus Cloud Services

Drop in to get one-on-one assistance directly from the Stratus Cloud Team for any questions or issues you're experiencing to get immediate troubleshooting or advice while using Stratus Cloud services. For live technical support, join the Cloud Computing User Group via Microsoft Teams every Wednesday 10–11a.m., and post in the Support Office Hours Channel. Users may join the chat and/or use the webinar information found on the calendar event in Microsoft Teams. 

NREL employees can visit the Stratus Cloud website (not publicly available or accessible) for more information related to cloud computing.
