Frequently Asked Questions
I've been using SSH keys. Do I need to reset my password?
Yes. Even if you have configured SSH keys to log into HPC systems, you still need
to maintain a password for your account to remain active. You also must authenticate with your password at least once every sixty days, either via a passworded SSH login,
a Lex web interface login, or via the kinit command on a login node.
Use the Password Management tool or passwd command to set your password.
How often must I reset my password?
Passwords do not expire. You may change your password no more than once per day.
