REopt for Resilience
NREL researchers designed a course to help technical service providers, community planners, and state policy makers understand how to use the REopt® techno-economic decision support platform to optimize energy systems for facilities that provide critical community resilience.
These modules were developed in partnership with the State Energy Program at the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) in a Technology Action Group focused on Onsite Energy Systems at Critical Facilities.
How to Boost Energy Resilience at Critical Facilities
Emergency managers and mitigation planners need actionable information about the costs and benefits of onsite energy systems at critical facilities to make investments that increase community resilience. In this course, you will learn about prioritizing critical facilities for energy investments and developing an onsite energy system at a single facility using the REopt tool. Explore the course modules below or sign up to receive weekly modules in your email inbox.
