Technical Assistance for Solar for All Grant Recipients
NREL provides technical assistance to Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Solar for All grant recipients.
The EPA's $7 billion Solar for All program is designed to deploy more than 4 GW of residential solar projects that will lower electricity costs for 900,000 households nationwide.
Through Solar for All, 60 grant recipients will create or expand existing solar programs for Americans in low-income and disadvantaged communities. The program is estimated to create 200,000 energy jobs and save $350 million in combined annual household electricity costs.
NREL's experienced team of researchers and analysts is providing a range of technical assistance services to support the Solar for All grant recipients' project plans. These services include research, modeling, and analysis on topics such as technology selection, siting and permitting, storage integration, interconnection and grid services, workforce development, financing strategies, policy enabling environments, and community engagement.
