MLife
MLife (pronounced em-life) is a set of MATLAB® scripts that calculate fatigue life and statistics for one or more time series.
Although we developed MLife to process wind turbine test or simulation data, it may also be useful for other types of data.
MLife is similar to the fatigue portion of MCrunch, but only one time series needs to reside in memory at once, so it uses far less memory. It should be much faster than MCrunch when processing many files. Unlike MCrunch, you can process an entire loads suite in a single job.
The latest release of MLife includes new joint probability distributions functionality.
This software was developed by Greg Hayman of NREL.
